The 3,000 mile Road Trip: A Collage

We are road trippers ( if such a word exists), that take pride on enduring thousands of miles on the wheels. What was originally planned to be a 1 week work cum personal trip to Texas turned out to be a 3 week , 3000mile trip. It was a melange of meeting my customers, friends and extended family . Our trip covered Texas ( Austin, Dallas ,San Antonio and Houston) and Colorado ( Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park).

The highlight of the trip was catching up with friends and family whose company we enjoy. Additionally, kids met old friends and in the case of our older daughter , she got to meet her Kindergarten buddies . It was heartening to see them sync in seconds and be back to their groove after 3 years.

In summary, we love road trips because it bonds the family and its fun. Its a forced encounter for the four of us in contrast to relatively separate activities that consume us during our routine lives, and heck , imagine all the fun!

I am first a writer ( atleast aspiring to be one) , and only now a wannabe photographer. My photos still dont tell a story, but I am learing and hopefully I will be able to marry words and pictures and weave a more interesting narrative. Watch this space...
